Atom Bank appoints Windle as BDM for North
Atom has hired Samantha Windle (pictured) to the role of business development manager (BDM) focusing on the North of England.

In her role at Atom Bank, Windle will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with brokers in the region, which covers Cumbria and the North East.

She will report to Dave Castling, head of intermediary distribution at Atom Bank.

Windle has worked at the firm since 2017, initially joining as a telephone BDM supporting Tim Gunning, the regional BDM for London and the South East.

She started her career at Northern Rock, where she worked between 1992 and 2014.

Castling said: “Samantha is a brilliant addition to our regional BDM team, bringing great interpersonal skills and a determination to deliver for brokers and borrowers alike.

“This is an exciting time for Atom Bank, as we consistently offer some of the best service levels around, combined with fantastic value and criteria. Blending cutting-edge technology with the best possible team, embodied by Samantha’s promotion, is helping Atom bank to build a reputation for outstanding speed, ease and value in the market.”

Windle said: “I’ve loved my time at Atom and I’m delighted to join the regional BDM team. Face-to-face relationship-building has always been the favourite part of my previous roles in the mortgage industry, and now I get to do that on a daily basis.

“I can’t wait to get out there and meet all of the broker firms in my region, learning about them and their clients to figure out how I can best support them.”

At the beginning of the year, Atom Bank cut its commercial rates.
