Skipton International has appointed Charlotte Dunsterville (pictured) as its new chief commercial officer.

Dunsterville joins the bank, which is part of the Skipton Group, as it expands its senior management team.

She has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial business, including at Sure and Guernsey-based Un1ty.

She spent more than nine years at Sure, rising from customer experience director to chief consumer officer.

More recently, Dunsterville founded Customerise during the pandemic to help businesses provide better customer experiences.

A bright future

Jim Coupe, Skipton’s CEO, says the bank has a bright future ahead.

He explained: “Charlotte’s varied commercial background and her reputation for sound judgement will be invaluable as we develop the business.

“Her expertise and experience will enable us to grow the business with effective propositions that keep Skipton at the forefront.”

It follows the recent appointment of a new chief operations officer.

Skipton International offers a range of offshore savings accounts and is one of the Channel Islands’ mortgage lenders.

Dunsterville said it was great to be joining a Guernsey success story with award-winning customer service and ambitious plans for growth, alongside a strong focus on customer experience and ESG.

She said: “I am delighted to be part of an organisation that has [a] very clear vision of its future, and I look forward to [being] a part of shaping the business for the benefit of all our stakeholders.”
