Second charge broker Freedom Finance has hired two senior managers in a bid to expand its new business activity.

The firm appointed former HBOS manager Michael Davidson to business development director, alongside Neil Farrar-Smith who will become director of business finance.

Davidson has worked in the field for 14 years holding senior management positions at BGL Group, HBOS and Countrywide.

Farrar-Smith, who will be in charge of expanding new business at Freedom, previously worked as personal lending business development director at Secured Trust.

CEO Brian Brodie (pictured) said: “As we continue to grow, it is important that we have the right people in our team to facilitate and build opportunities.

“Our two newest appointments reinforce our desire to invest in the future success of the business.
