Moving people: the latest industry hires
It’s a busy time for UK specialist lending as lenders and packagers alike are gearing up for prosperous times ahead. Here are the latest hires.

Specialist packager Complete FS has hired three new members of staff across its bridging and commercial, residential and buy to let and sales and enquiries teams.

Emma Page, who previously worked in estate agency, joined the bridging team as a case manager, while Leanne Autton joined the buy-to-let team after 10 years at RBS. David Horsley was appointed to the sales team. He previously spent four years working for the pensions team at Hampshire County Council.

Director Phil Jay said: “Complete FS has continued to evolve and provide a successful, consistent specialist service to intermediaries through the peaks and troughs of the last 25 years. Emma, Leanne and David have already demonstrated strong skills and the vital talent of being great communicators, which goes to the heart of what we do best at Complete FS – providing a vital, friendly and knowledgeable bridge to the best of specialist lending services.”

Specialist Lender Together has appointed a new head of development funding. Former customer solutions manager Ian Pickering re-joined the firm after a three-year stint as property development manager at Aldermore Bank.

The appointment followed the promotion of former development funding chief Ritchie Watson to lending director focusing on larger lending transactions between £500k and £10m.

Commercial CEO Marc Goldberg said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ian back to the business and know his extensive experience will be a great asset. Our commercial growth plans span all areas, including development finance, and we’re looking forward to working with even more commercial customers to deliver the funding they need for their development projects.”

Meanwhile, specialist lender Shawbrook Commercial has promoted several business development managers as part of a restructure of its field sales team.

Lee Albino and Daryl Norkett, previously BDMs for the North and East Anglia and London regions respectively, were promoted to regional development managers. Marc Champ was promoted to senior regional manager for Central London and Gavin Seaholme is now senior development manager in the Midlands region.

Sales director Emma Cox said: “It gives me great pleasure to announce these well-deserved promotions within our field sales team. I am confident that they will provide great value for our brokers and their clients in the years ahead.”
