Ilsen quits Regentsmead to launch new lender

Last week Specialist Lending Solutions revealed that three lenders were expected to launch into the development finance market in early 2018.

Ilsen said the official launch date has been set for late Spring 2018.

He has spent five years at Regentsmead. Announcing the news Ilsen said: “With some exciting finance partners lined up this will enable the new company to create a unique offering into the development finance market; a sector I believe is lacking in overall quality.

“The new source of capital will allow us to offer extremely competitive funding, twinned with a highly experienced team and dynamic development finance products.

“I will be releasing further details of our funding partners, along with key industry individuals that will be working with me to grow this new venture over the next few months,” he added.

Ilsen also thanked Regenstmead for his time at the business.

“It’s been an amazing five years at Regentsmead, after being given the opportunity to work my way up through the business and head up the lending department, alongside Sam Howard.

“I will have nothing but fond memories of my time at Regentsmead, however I think now is the time for a fresh challenge,” he said.
