LendInvest appoints director of underwriting and BDM

Clohessy (pictured) boasts more than 18 years of experience, having previously worked for a range of banks including Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Bank and most recently Shawbrook Bank, where she was a senior divisional credit manager.

She will be tasked with implementing faster underwriting processes and improving communication channels.

The specialist lender has also recruited Jan Gallagher as business development manager for the north west.

Gallagher joins from Vida Home Loans, and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having been both a broker and BDM in the past.

She will work alongside Sophie Mitchell-Charman, the lender’s existing BDM for the region.
