Shawbrook explores the future of short-term finance
The recent trends and future outlook of the short-term lending sector will be explored by Shawbrook Bank’s head of sales Emma Cox at The Specialist Lending Event.

Cox (pictured) will host a session where she will discuss what impact the political climate has had on the housing market and how that might influence the demand for short-term lending.

She will also explore the ways in which advisers can spot opportunities in this part of the market.

The Specialist Lending Event was launched in 2016 with the aim of informing brokers about this growing area of the market, to look at those sectors which have not been catered for by mainstream lenders in recent years.

At this year’s event, expert speakers will address the latest developments in those niche areas such as non-standard lending, complex buy to let, the self-employed market and the growing specialist first-time buyer niche.

A panel of the main specialist mortgage distributors and lenders will also discuss seconds, bridging and broader issues of the day as well as invite questions from the audience.

Dates and locations are:

5 February – National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull

6 February – Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher

12 February – York Racecourse, York

13 February – Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool
