Masthaven Bank has promoted Shelley Connelly to director of mortgage lending.

Connelly (pictured) will take on responsibility for the strategic direction of the bank’s residential and buy-to-let mortgage lending activities, while continuing to oversee the day-to-day running of lending operations. She had previously been head of underwriting.

The lender also announced the promotion of Sabahe Mrizag to director of business information.

Mrizag will oversee the strategic direction of the business intelligence and data analysis function, including data quality and maximising the use of data and analytics to provide insight into business operations.

The lender said the promotions reinforced its commitment to championing female talent.

“Shelley and Sabahe’s promotions are testament to this and I’m confident that with their experience and knowledge, they will make a huge contribution to our leadership team and help us achieve further success.”
