Roma Finance appoints Allison as commercial director
Specialist lender Roma Finance has promoted Michael Allison (pictured) to commercial director after nearly two years with the firm.

Allison joined the company in 2021 as head of transformational change, and consequently moved to operations director in 2022.

Prior to that he worked at Together for over 13 years, most recently as head of business growth and commercial processing.

The company said that the appointment was a “pivotal moment” for the firms and “represents the next stage of the business’ significant journey”.

The lender said that it had “record breaking growth” last year and it was now on track to become a £350m business in the next two years.

Scott Marshall, managing director and founder at Roma Finance, said: “I am absolutely delighted to appoint Michael to the role of Commercial Director. He has been a major asset to the growth of Roma and I am so excited for the next two years.

“The positive changes that will be broadcast throughout 2023 to materially enhance the partner and borrower journey are ground-breaking in our industry.”

Allison added: “Being part of a business that is so focussed on people, has been a pleasure and there is so much scope to do more. I am thrilled to be taking on this new step in mine and Roma’s journey.

“The values and morals instilled within the business are second to none and I am delighted to be leading a team with so much passion for the partner and borrower journey.”
