Alternative Bridging Corporation hires BDM
Alternative Bridging Corporation has appointed James McDonough to its sales team for the North of England and Scotland.

McDonough will report to Paul Gavin, head of sales for the Northern division of the lender, and will use his experience to help brokers in the region secure bridging, development or commercial finance, first and second charge mortgages.

McDonough joins from Hope Capital where he an internal business development manager (BDM) for half a year.

Before that he worked as a senior mortgage and protection adviser at Strike for just under a year and also worked in the same role at Move Financial North West for around two years.

Prior to that he was a mortgage sales manager at Expat Mortgage for around two years, and McDonough started his career at Barclays, where he worked for three years initially joining as a broker support adviser.

Gavin said: “I’m delighted to welcome James to the team as we continue to increase the support we offer to brokers who are looking for innovative specialist property finance.

“With his wide breadth of experience, he has a strong understanding of the pressures that brokers experience and the way that lenders like Alternative Bridging can help relieve those pressures and deliver great outcomes for their clients.”
