Together reports annual lending of £1.4bn with further growth expected
Specialist lender Together reported annual lending through its intermediary sales team of £1.4bn as completions breached the £1bn mark for the second year in a row.

The group offers bridging loans and mortgages and has a group loan book of around £6.2bn and completed 7,857 transactions in the 12 months to 30 June.

Tanya Elmaz (pictured), director of intermediary sales at Together, said that the figures were an “incredible achievement and highlights how high performing our sales team has been through what has been a tough cycle for the UK economy over the past couple of years”.

She added that the sales team’s results were down to a focus on working closely with brokers and other partners such as solicitors and valuers, as well as an aim to offer the “best service possible”.

Elmaz continued: “Breaking the one billion barrier again for the second year running shows the huge demand which exists from broker’s clients for specialist lending, in terms of both commercial and personal finance.”

She was promoted to head of intermediary sales earlier this year and is overseeing the combination of the personal and commercial finance teams.

Elmaz is supported by teams led by Michelle Walsh, head of intermediary sales for commercial finance, and James Briggs, head of intermediary sales for personal finance.

She said in the coming months the firm would be “targeting even more opportunities to grow our business under the new team structure”.

“This will include expanding our broker panel and focusing on new products, such as our regulated second charge bridge product, which offers more options for brokers to support customers looking for short-term finance,” she added.
