Specialist lender Aspen Bridging lent around £57.7m between July and September, the best quarterly performance since the firm was founded in 2017.
The lender said that it had completed deals ranging from £200,000 to £7m, with the average coming to £900,000.
It added that the quickest time to fund was five days and more than half of deals were completed within a month of initial submission.
The firm said that completions were submitted by 21 different broker firms on properties across 18 counties in England and Wales.
Around 40 per cent were heavy refurbishment cases, 27 per cent were written on Aspen’s popular no valuation product, 15 per cent were on its bridge-to-let product and the remaining 18 per cent were development exits.
A wide variety of property types were lent on including covered terraced, semi-detached and detached houses through to flats, semi-commercial premises, office buildings and warehouses.
Jack Coombs (pictured), director at Aspen Bridging, said: “So far 2023 has been excellent and has resulted in our best first calendar quarter performance since the company was incepted in 2017.
“These numbers have been realised thanks to our hard-working team operating hand-in-hand with our great introducers and legal partners at Fieldfisher LLP.
“It all points to our strong appetite to lend, and we intend to continue the rest of the year exactly as we have begun.”
