I also work in repossessions for a number of lenders and have faced several difficult cases such as this.
Although I agree with forbearance to a point I truly believe that over forbearing and courts/bailiffs taking sympathy with borrowers is delaying the inevitable. Repossessions may be lower than previous years despite the struggling economy, however I’m sure the true figure would be much higher without borrowers knowing how to play the system.
