This week’s letter comes from Paul Smulovitch, managing director and mortgage adviser at Integral Private Finance Services, in response to the article: Five key ways the Insurance Distribution Directive will impact mortgage brokers – Broadley.
Smulovitch said any conscientious adviser will do the things already suggested by Broadley.
He added: “There appears to be this incessant and constant need to change things for the sake of it.
“Those rogue advisers will still be rogue and find ways around this and those who put the client first will again continue to do so.
“Therefore will the client genuinely see any benefit from these changes?”
