The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has won a Golden Bull award at this year’s Plain English Campaign Awards along with eight others, in the category for the year’s worst examples of gobbledygook. The FSA’s offending piece of ‘title-winning twaddle’, according to the Plain English Campaign, was found in the regulator’s recent consultation paper (CP98) on mortgage regulation.
