Whether you are a broker, lender, surveyor or conveyancer across adverse credit, bridging, buy to let (BTL), second charge and more, this is the chance to showcase talent and excellence in the industry.
The nomination process is a three-tier process with a focus on fairness and transparency.
The first stage is an invitation to the industry to nominate individuals that have met the award category criteria in the last 12 months, or to self-nominate.
A longlist is then created for each category and a weighting system is applied to account for the number of nominations from the individual’s internal business and the industry more widely.
There is a cap of five nominations from each nominee’s own business.

A three-person shortlist is then created, and they are asked to submit a supporting testimonial and invited to a 15-minute interview with industry-renowned judges.

There are 25 awards up for grabs across broker, lender and business leader categories, and the awards are an opportunity to recognise excellence across the specialist lending industry.
The award ceremony will take place on 14 May at Hilton London Bankside.
Danielle Moore, managing director of AE3 Media, said: “The British Specialist Lending Awards offer a chance to acknowledge individuals across the industry who raise the bar, and challenge others to follow.
“The focus of these awards is on individuals, not companies, so nominating someone you know or yourself is the best way to showcase excellence in the specialist lending industry.”
