Woolwich to produce top tips for brokers
Woolwich has produced top tip sheets to address frequently asked questions or issues as part of its campaign to help intermediaries get the best from its mortgage application system, MAX.
It has also updated its complete quick start guide to MAX to accommodate broker comments. Its website will also feature a new feedback section in the coming months to allow intermediaries a direct way of commenting on the online mortgage application system.
The tips and the quick start guide are based on broker feedback about Woolwich’s online mortgage application system. Through this feedback, intermediaries indicated that although many were comfortable using the system, others needed some help to use it in the most efficient way and avoid delays to their mortgage decisions.
David Finlay, intermediary business director at Woolwich, said it recognised that there are sticking points within MAX which can delay mortgage decisions.
He added: “We take broker feedback very seriously at Woolwich and have a monthly discussion to see what comments are coming back to us. Obviously enhancing the system itself is a long-term goal. But there are many things that brokers can do right now that will automatically overcome many of the problems they may have encountered in the past. We cover all these in this campaign, which is designed to help brokers get the best out of the system as it stands now
