Abbey lowers rates on high LTV mortgages

Abbey for Intermediaries has lowered its fixed and variable rates on some of its high LTV mortgages.

The rate changes include a five year fixed, intermediary 90% LTV mortgage with a £995 booking fee at 6.89%, which is down by 0.20% and a two year fixed homebuyer mortgage at 80% LTV with a £995 booking fee at 5.19%, which is also down by 0.20%.

A two year tracker, 85% LTV mortgage with a £995 booking fee starting from 4.69% is down by 0.10%.

Abbey has also extended its ‘Existing Bank Account’ mortgage range to all 21 of its key account partners. Abbey will also offer a new 75% LTV fixed rate deal at 4.39% with £995 booking fee.

It is estimated that over 90% of the intermediary market will now be able to access the intermediary only, 90% LTV, two year fixed mortgage, with a £495 booking fee at 6.49%.
