Which Network cancels Mortgage Times network event
Due to poor weather conditions, Which Network has cancelled the Network Showcase Event, where five networks would have pitched for the business of Appointed Representatives (ARs) of Mortgage Times.
Which Network said that it had considered postponing the event further but felt the impetus would have been lost as the majority of the registrations were former Mortgage Times ARs who would be keen to sort a new home as soon as possible.
Paul Day, director of Which Network said: “We are obviously disappointed in having to communicate this decision especially considering the amount of work we have personally put into the marketing and setting up of the event. We have great empathy for the ARs and staff alike with the situation they have been left in.”
He added that as the poor weather is forecasted to last for at least the whole of next week, it was unlikely that the majority of delegates booked for the event could actually be able to make it on the day.
Day added that there had been an excellent reaction to the event and high levels of registrations.
He said: “We have almost finished contacting the confirmed registered delegates to inform them of the cancellation and discuss their requirements. We would urge anyone who would like help to still make contact with us.”
