Russell will be responsible for the development of the Private Client proposition, launched by Towergate Financial at the end of 2009, including new platforms, investment solutions and adviser tools.

Reporting to business development director Dan Saulter, Russell will also lead the roll out of the Transition Toolkit to new IFA firms.

Launched on 2 August, the tools are designed to help adviser firms transition their business to a recurring fee model ahead of the FSA’s Retail Distribution Review (RDR).
