ASTL announces plans for inaugural conference
The Association of Short Term Lenders has announced plans to hold its first annual conference for the bridging and short-term loan market.
The trade body will hold a conference at Butchers’ Hall in London on October 10 with lenders and brokers dealing in the bridging market invited to the event.
The industry regulator will make a speech to delegates while a representative from the broker community will make a presentation on the outlook for the industry. Other speakers will include a lawyer, a surveyor and a compliance expert.
Benson Hersch (pictured), chief executive of the ASTL, said: “The ASTL is the sole trade body for short term and bridging lenders.
“The conference will look at the size and complexity of the market, its potential for growth and the factors that are likely to impact it both in the short term and over the longer term.”
Conference attendance will be priced at £125 per delegate, those interested should contact kay@theastl.org for further information.
