An estate agent has promised to remove references to listing properties on portal Zoopla following a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

Howard Cundey is an online estate agent, with regional branches in Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Essex.

A complaint was raised by a customer following an ad which detailed ‘Four Ways To Sell’ which included references to properties being listed on Zoopla.

The customer complained after discovering that their own property, which was on the market with Howard Cundey, was not listed on the portal.

After the ASA stepped in to investigate, the agent agreed to remove all references to listing properties on Zoopla from its site.

Nonetheless, its page on online property auctions still suggests properties will be listed on a range of portals including Zoopla and Rightmove.
