This year's British New Homes Mortgage Senate was held at 30 Euston Square in London on Wednesday, with attendees from the mortgage, finance and housebuilding sectors.
Attendees observed and participated in discussions around the outlay of the UK’s housing market and the economy, as well as the potential impact the new government’s plans could have on the new-build housing sector.
Conversations were had on what impact the planning system had on sustainable development practices and the delivery of energy-efficient homes, including a debate on why homeownership was important for society.
