In the club constituency, Clare Beardmore, director of mortgage club and distribution at Legal & General (L&G), and in the AFB constituency, Tim Wheeldon, Fluent Money’s CEO, have both been re-elected.
They are joined by Toni Smith, network distribution director at Sesame Network, and Helen Martin, LSL Financial Services’ chief risk officer, who are newly elected to the network constituency, with Jason Berry, group sales director at Crystal FS, elected to the regional constituency.
Stephanie Charman, AMI’s chief executive, said: “This process ensures that our membership continues to feel confident in its representation. I would like to thank all those who stood for election, reinforcing the importance of a transparent and democratic process.
“The AMI board also extended its gratitude to outgoing members for their dedicated service, Ray Boulger of John Charcol and Steve Harris from Sesame Bankhall Group, who are stepping down after 23 and three years respectively. With a demanding regulatory landscape ahead, AMI remains strongly positioned to promote and protect the mortgage advice community.”
AMI was founded in 2003 and has been independent since 2012. It represents the interests of UK mortgage intermediaries.
