Advisers who are appointed representatives (ARs) or directly authorised (DA) can take part in the survey, which the firm said takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Paradigm’s survey is intended to explore how AI is utilised within the mortgage market, alongside the opportunities presented by such technologies and the challenges that mortgage advisers may face regarding adoption.
The firm said the results of the survey will help with its decision as to whether a national AI strategy – shaped by distributors and brokers – is needed. It said that such a strategy would make sure that the market could make full use of AI and similar emerging technologies while also managing factors like ethics, regulation, and workforce impact.
Paradigm added that all the survey responses are treated confidentially.
Richard Howes (pictured), Paradigm Mortgage Services’ director of mortgages, said: “This national survey on AI for the broker community, powered by Paradigm and with help from lenders and tech entrepreneurs, is looking to secure feedback from business owners and advisers – whether you are a DA or AR – in order that we can start to determine what an industry strategy might look like, as a broker/distributor community.

“This is an incredibly important and relevant market and societal issue, not just in terms of how AI might impact advisers’ day-to-day work, but also in ensuring the broker voice is heard in shaping how our industry adopts and integrates these technologies.”
