Following its announcement in May to align the membership of the Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank boards with Nationwide, updates have been made, effective from 30 September.
Resignations from the Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank boards include Tim Wade, non-executive director, senior independent director and chair of the audit committee, Lucinda Charles-Jones, non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee, and Elena Novokreshchenova, non-executive director.
Petra van Hoeken, non-executive director and chair of the risk committee, and Gergely Zaborszky, executive director and CFO, have also resigned from the board.
Appointments to the Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank boards include Kevin Parry, non-executive director, chair and chair of the governance and nomination committee, Tracey Graham, senior independent director chair of the remuneration committee, Phil Rivett, non-executive director and chair of the audit committee, and Alan Keir, non-executive director and chair of the risk committee.
Graham will continue to serve as non-executive director of Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank.

Other appointments include Albert Hitchcock, Debbie Klein, Tamara Rajah, Gillian Riley, Sally Orton and Anand Aithal, all as non-executive directors.
Debbie Crosbie, Nationwide’s CEO, has also been appointed executive director, while Muir Mathieson has been appointed executive director and CFO of the Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank boards.
David Bennett will remain as a non-executive director of Nationwide, Virgin Money and Clydesdale Bank until 31 December 2025, after which he will retire from all roles.
