Legal & General's (L&G’s) Ignite mortgage and affordability criteria platform has launched its first product API integration with Lloyds Banking Group.

This will give brokers using the platform seamless access to the lender’s mortgage product information. Lloyds Banking Group will be able to automatically update product information on Ignite, to streamline product onboarding and improve the broker experience.

L&G said this would enhance speed and accuracy in mortgage sourcing.

Kelly Bretherton, head of Ignite at L&G’s Mortgage Services business, said: “We’re delighted to launch Ignite’s first product API integration with Lloyds Banking Group.

“By enabling brokers to access LBG’s latest mortgage product data instantly and seamlessly through this connection, we’re setting a new standard for speed and accuracy in mortgage sourcing.”

Frances Cassidy, head of strategic and technology partnerships at Lloyds Banking Group, added: “Lloyds Banking Group is focused on delivering consistent, reliable connectivity for intermediaries and customers across the market.
