Home Loan Services, which has operated for more than 17 years, will remain independent, retain its team and operating model to maintain continuity for housebuilders, sales teams and homebuyers.
The deal reflects MAB’s ongoing investment in the new-build market, a strategic priority for the group. Earlier this year, MAB bought out new-build brokerages Meridian and Evolve and merged the businesses.
Ian McGrail, chief executive of First Mortgage, said: “This acquisition represents an important step in strengthening our support for the Scottish new-build market.
“Home Loan Services (Glasgow) is a highly respected business with long-standing relationships across Scotland’s major housebuilders, and we’re delighted to welcome them into the business, while ensuring they continue to deliver the same high level of service their partners and customers have come to expect.”
Harry McGeough, managing director of Home Loan Services, said: “We’ve worked closely alongside First Mortgage for many years, and this latest move allows us to build on that relationship.
