Target Group has appointed Fiona Peel as product manager, after spending 14 years at Coutts.

In her role as product manager, Peel will shape and strengthen Target Group’s product proposition across payments, servicing and collections. Peel will also work across the business to bring greater clarity and consistency to its product offering.

Peel brings more than 20 years of experience across banking, credit, mortgages, wealth management and operations.

She began her career as a mortgage adviser before moving into leadership roles at HSBC and NatWest.

Peel later spent 14 years at Coutts, including roles as head of mortgage operations and, most recently, client journey manager.

Peel said she was “really excited” to join Target: “Not only is the proposition really impressive, but the team behind it are experts at what they do.

“Using my experience in operations within credit and banking, I want to work with this brilliant team to develop our product offering and really demonstrate what we can offer to financial institutions.”

Katie Pender, COO of Target Group, added: “Fiona brings a wealth of experience across product, operational change and client journeys, as well as a valuable perspective from having worked within major financial institutions.

“She understands first-hand the challenges our clients are facing and what they expect from technology and outsourcing partners.

“That insight will be particularly valuable as we continue to strengthen our product proposition, deliver our growth ambitions and ensure we are delivering solutions that genuinely meet the needs of the market. We’re delighted to have Fiona on board and I look forward to working with her.”
