Sale and compliance system Home Buyer Systems (HBS) will pay its users enhanced fees for conveyancing referrals under a new scheme entitled “Quid Pro Quo”.

Quid Pro Quo will pay £7.50 per case and will be additional to the standard referral fee paid to brokers by the conveyancing provider.

It has been designed to cover the cost of brokers using the Home Buyer software because by referring one sale and purchase case per month, the monthly cost of HBSLite will be covered with all other referrals earning additional income for the broker.

Currently the scheme applies to referrals by brokers to Easier2Move and RG Solicitors but it will extended to cover other suppliers that may partner with Home Buyer Systems in future.

Richard Angliss, managing director of Home Buyer Systems, said: “By introducing the Quid Pro Quo payment for conveyancing referrals through our system, we are making it possible for brokers to give their customers easy access to an excellent conveyancing service, earn the standard commission paid by the conveyancing supplier, and also earn an extra payment from us that will discount their licence fee for using the Home Buyer software.”

John Whyte, financial adviser at Whyte Financial, who was one of the first Home buyers users to register for Quid Pro Quo, added: “Assuming the case proceeds as normal, as in the case of my first bit of business with Easier2Move, you get regular emailed updates on progress and upon completion you are paid a referral fee from the solicitors and a contribution from QPQ towards your monthly subscription cost of HBS. It’s a no brainer, why wouldn’t you want to register for QPQ?”
