Malone takes on AMI fraud spokesman role
John Malone, executive chairman of PMS has accepted the role of representive for the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) on the Mortgage Fraud Forum.

Malone has taken on the unpaid role after several months liaising with brokers with his broker-focused anti-fraud presentation, which he put together with the collaboration of several key lenders.

Malone said the role of AMI representative at the National Fraud Forum was offered to him by Robert Sinclair after a wealth of experience in the sector.

Robert Sinclair, director of AMI, said: “It is important to get someone who is closer to the commercial end of transactions rather than just policy involved in this vital area. John will bring a wealth of experience in this new position and ensure that the broker voice is heard of on behalf of AMI and the profession. I am delighted that he has volunteered to provide his time in this way.”

Malone is full-time with Sesame Bankhall-owned PMS, but an announcement on his career is expected as early as next week.

Malone said: “I’ve never been busier and have plenty of opportunities in the pipeline.”
