TMA launches file checking service for DAs
The Mortgage Alliance (TMA) has formed a partnership with Compliance Checking, enabling directly authorised (DA) intermediaries access to its file checking service.
The new service will allow DAs to access solutions including file data storage, business risk reporting, risk based remote file checking and outsourced and temporary arrangements, for experienced compliance staff.
The alliance has been implemented in response to the potential implications of the MMR and the wider regulatory requirements.
Phil Whitehouse, head of TMA, said: “Many firms have increased file checking, whilst others are applying a risk based approach, and the challenge remains on how to utilise limited resources to adapt and manage business risks.”
He added: “This is why we have formed this strategic partnership with Compliance Checking as we believe it can help DAs find the right solution for the right budget.”
TMA said it will be offering a discount to all the DAs who run their business through it.
