Another high-profile lender, Scottish Widows Bank, has pulled out of the lifetime equity release market.
The sector itself says pooling resources and forming a united front to advertise and promote itself to consumers is the only way for the low profile sector to secure its future.
Is this another blow to the equity release market as another provider with the budget and profile to promote the sector disappears?
