Previously, brokers received updates on receipt of application, on the underwriting decision, when the valuation has been requested and production of first offer.
Now, intermediaries receive updates when the valuation is returned, the Certificate of Title has been received, the funds have been released and the mortgage has completed.
This is the latest in a series of technological changes introduced by AFI, including the option to assign a secondary email address for applicants and a document upload tool in June.
