Spicerhaart Group joins L&G Network as AR
Spicerhaart Group has joined the Legal & General Network on a long term Appointed Representative contract.

Spicerhaart offers property related services including sales, lettings, mortgages, insurance, surveying and conveyancing through its high street brands Darlows, Felicity J Lord, FINE, haart, Haybrook and Spicer McColl.

There are 90 brokers in the whole of Spicerhaart, with that number expected to reach 100 before the end of the year, said a spokesman for the Group.

Duncan Crocker, managing director, Legal & General Network said: “We are specialists in supporting quality distribution firms who are directly linked to the UK mortgage and protection advice sector and have a unique pairing of a mortgage club and surveying business who will work closely with Spicerhaart to our mutual advantage.

“The decision by Spicerhaart to choose LGN is an endorsement of the rounded model that we operate and this is likely to be the most significant new partnership established in this space in 2012. We are very excited about the long term growth based nature of this alliance.”

Paul Smith, chief exectuive cfficer, Spicerhaart, added: “There is really only one major player when it comes to the mortgage and protection sector in the UK and that is Legal & General.

“Their products, their people and the quality of their advice are industry leading and make an ideal fit for Spicerhaart and its customers.”
