Coreco a top 100 apprenticeship employer
Mortgage brokerage Coreco has been named as one of the top 100 apprenticeship employers at the National Apprenticeship Awards ceremony in Birmingham.
The London-based firm started running an apprenticeship scheme in August 2011 with the aim of bringing new blood into the industry. The firm has taken on six apprentices in the past 16 months, the first of whom is now a fully qualified mortgage adviser.
This award comes after Coreco was highly commended at the London regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards and National Training Awards 2012.
Mortgage Solutions spent a day with the firm’s apprenticeship scheme earlier this year while Coreco has also received praise from Mayor of London Boris Johnson (pictured).
Roy Hardy, operations director at Coreco, said: “To be named in the top 100 companies in the whole of the UK alongside such household names as Rolls Royce, BT and IBM UK Ltd is fantastic and goes to show that Coreco is not only committed to being an industry leader, but dedicated to the community and helping people achieve their goals.
“Our apprentices have already added so much to the Coreco team, offering a different point of view and confirming that Coreco is a superb place to work.
