HSBC to cut 14,000 jobs in global restructure
HSBC plans to cut an additional 14,000 jobs as part of a worldwide restructure, the BBC reports.

The bank said the move was part of a restructure begun to reduce costs and increase profitability.

It wants to save another $3bn (£2bn) in annual costs, the report said.

The redundancies would cut the bank’s headcount to between 240,000 and 250,000 over the next three years.
