Broker shoots video in bid for viral-referrals
A mortgage adviser is aiming to go viral after releasing a video promoting his business to customers across the UK.

LPR Mortgage Services owner Lloyd Richards teamed up with production company Wonkana to film a high definition Youtube introduction to his services. Since it was released on 31 May 2013, the video has already generated new client enquiries worth ten times what it cost to make.

Warwickshire-based Richards said he hoped the film would distinguish him from other brokers: “All my business comes from referrals. If I can provide a video to my existing client that they can pass on to their friends and colleagues it is a little bit more interesting.

“I can shout from the rooftops about how great I am. I do not expect anyone to believe that. But I do expect people to listen to their friends.”

The video was also intended to show potential clients his personality and ability to give honest advice, he added.

Shots in the video include the grounds of a Warwickshire hotel, a local high street and a rambler who accidentally interrupted filming.

Professional videos can be commissioned for as little as £500.
