Santander expands buy-to-let range
Santander for Intermediaries is adding two fixed-rate products to its buy-to-let range, and reducing rates on landlord remortgages by up to 0.5% on 27 November.

The fixed-rate mortgages will be available at 2.94% at 60% loan-to-value (LTV), and 3.64% at 75% LTV. Both products carry a £495 booking fee and are available for purchase and remortgage.

The rate reductions are applicable to the two-year fixed rate remortgage products of 60% and 75%, LTV with rates of 2.79% and 3.49% respectively. Both products carry a £995 booking fee.

Santander will also increase rates on its five-year fixed rate products at 80%, 85% and 90% LTV. The range now stretches from 2.94% for an 80% LTV mortgage with a £995 booking fee, to 3.75% for a fee-free 90% LTV.

The lender is withdrawing its two-year fixed range available exclusively to first-time buyers at 60-75% LTV, despite only announcing the products at the beginning of the month.

Full applications on all amended and withdrawn products must be submitted by midnight on Thursday 26 November in order to secure a booking.
