The Mortgage Lender improves service terms for select distributor panel
The Mortgage Lender has agreed streamlined service arrangements and enhanced products for a Premier Panel of specialist distributors.

Pete Thomson (pictured), director of sales and marketing at The Mortgage Lender, said: “We introduced the Premier Panel after asking our distributor business partners how we could enhance and add value to existing relationships.

“With 90% of our applications already underwritten within 48-hours the addition of a single point of contact for Premier Panel members helps cement our working relationship and provides a platform we can build on in the future.”

The Premier Panel includes Residential Home Loans (RHL), The Mortgage Trading Company, Complete FS, 1010 Mortgages, 3MC, Brightstar, The Lending Channel, TFC Homeloans, and Positive Lending. The lender also distributes through a raft of other mortgage clubs, networks and mortgage firms.

The Mortgage Lender, which launched in July 2016, is an adverse credit and specialist lender which serves customers including contractors and the self-employed from a ‘range of financial backgrounds.’

Panel member Alistair Ewing, owner at The Lending Channel said: “It means the whole process is streamlined so service that was good before is even better now. The products are great, well-priced, with good LTVs and they help clients who can’t get a mortgage from a true mainstream lender.”

One in three of its borrowers qualify for its lowest rate, currently 1.89% and 98% of its offers are on the same product rate as the decision in principle, said the firm.
