Stuart Davies will be starting in his new role in January 2019.
Davies will report into Jenny Granner, operations director of Intrinsic and will work closely with Stephen Gazard, group managing director of Intrinsic.
Gazard, who joined Intrinsic from SBG in 2017, has previously worked closely with Stuart Davies.
Granner said: “Operations is a critical part of Intrinsic. We are investing heavily in adviser technology to provide the right systems for our advisers, but that is only part of the package.
“We also need to have the right people and structure to deliver. Stuart brings vast industry experience, and the regulatory and technical knowledge that we need.”
Davies said that he is delighted to be joining Intrinsic, particularly at a time when it is investing in technology.
He added: “On a personal note I am excited to be part of an organisation that continues to grow and is forward thinking in its approach to supporting face to face advice.”
Gazard said that he is delighted to be working with Stuart again.
He added: “He was instrumental in the reshaping of compliance operations at Sesame Bankhall.
“His adviser and customer focus will bring great value and insight as we continue on our growth journey and I know he will be really energised by being part of a group committed to investing in the future of face to face advice.”
