Stonebridge upgrades Revolution portals and adds ID check
Stonebridge has upgraded its Revolution trading platform including new identity verification technology.

The RevolutionID was developed jointly with Experian and is being rolled out to Stonebridge appointed representative (AR) firms and advisers following a test period.

The technology has been integrated into Revolution enabling brokers speedily to verify clients’ identity or have the case referred or rejected.

Stonebridge said the system gives brokers a full identity and address verification report and will form an integral step in the application process for its AR firms and advisers.

Portal redesign

The network has also redesigned its introducer and client portals.

Introducers can now refer leads, add data, follow leads, message firms or advisers and view status reports on the progress of their referral.

Meanwhile the client portal allows advisers to request and exchange documentation with clients, store client questionnaires and track policies.

“We received incredibly positive feedback from firms taking part in the pilot,” said Tim Merrey, director, Revolution.

He noted that the system “will help firms to counter identity fraud and give them full confidence about the clients they’re dealing with.”

“And it will seriously cut the time spent on a task that, historically, has sometimes taken many hours to secure a satisfactory outcome.

“There’s more to come and we look forward to rolling out new benefits and opportunities through the system,” Merrey added.
