Hodge hires Jan Preece as CFO
Hodge has appointed Jan Preece as its chief financial officer (CFO).

Preece has held a number of senior finance roles with the most recent being finance director at Friends Provident International, a subsidiary of Aviva, since 2016.

Before this, she was head of finance at Aviva for two years.

Preece also worked a four-year stint at Lloyds Banking Group as head of commercial finance and planning for two years, before moving on to the role of general insurance financial controller.

She has experience setting up new target operating models and implementing business systems and is used to managing international-based teams remotely.

Preece said: “Given the exciting growth plans for Hodge, I was delighted to be successful in obtaining this role within the group. To have the opportunity to help deliver these plans is hugely motivational in ensuring the business is successful.

“I have no doubt the growth plans for the coming years will make Hodge an exciting place to be and I am really looking forward to meeting my team and colleagues across the business.”

David Landen, CEO at Hodge, added: “I’m extremely excited for Jan to join us. As expected for this role, we met with several impressive candidates, but Jan’s skillset, experience and personality all made for a compelling application.

“I’m thrilled we’ve been able to attract Jan to Hodge as our new chief financial officer.”
