Halifax has reduced select fee-free remortgage rates by as much as 0.39 per cent, covering two, three and five-year fixed rates.
The changes come into force from today.
On the two-year fixed rate side, deals up to 90 per cent loan to value (LTV) have been cut.
This includes its two-year fixed rate at 60 per LTV which has fallen by 0.39 per cent to 4.97 per cent.
Its two-year fixed rate at 75 per cent LTV has reduced by the same amount to 5.02 per cent.
The lender’s two-year fixed rate at 90 per cent LTV has decreased by 0.34 per cent to 5.52 per cent.
Fee-free three-year fixes up to 90 per cent LTV have also been cut, including the deal at 60 per cent LTV which has gone down by 0.19 per cent to 4.68 per cent.
Its fee-fee three-year fixed rate at 75 per cent LTV has been reduced by 0.19 per cent to 4.73 per cent.
Fee-free five-year fixed rates up to 90 per cent LTV have fallen. This includes a product at 60 per cent LTV that has gone down by 0.24 per cent to 4.29 per cent.
Its five-year fixed rate at 80 per cent LTV has fallen by 0.25 per cent to 4.71 per cent, whilst its deal at 75 per cent LTV was cut by 0.24 per cent to 4.34 per cent.
