Golunska is the managing director of wealth and advice at Aviva and prior to that was the chief executive of Sesame Bankhall for over two years.
Before that she held a senior role at Friends Life for around three years and before that worked at broker firm JLT as an executive director for around three years.
Golunska has also held roles at Paternoster and Prudential Assurance.
Tembo said she brought “decades of highly relevant experience including an extensive knowledge of the financial services sector, risk and stakeholder management and regulated advice”.
She will work with stakeholders to ensure that the firm continues to grow and deliver compliant services to customers.
The firm appointed Jenny Watts in January as its board chair as part of plans to continue its growth trajectory.
Tembo was founded in 2020 by Richard Dana and specialises in helping buyers bridge the growing mortgage affordability gap and figure out their budget.
It helps identity family-assisted mortgages and specialist scheme that buyers are eligible for through its decisioning technology, with the team then offering advice and guidance.
