Uinsure makes two hires to support expansion
Insurtech Uinsure has appointed Paul Kelly and Will Price to new roles as part of its growth strategy.

Price joins Uinsure from BGL and has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance market, with a focus on developing insurer partnerships.

He has been hired into the newly created position of chief insurance officer at Uinsure. Price’s responsibilities will include managing and developing a “strong and future-focused” partner offering to support Uinsure’s product suite.

Kelly has worked at Uinsure since 2016, when he joined as chief proposition officer. He will take on the role of chief product and programme officer. He will be tasked with developing the firm’s product proposition and delivering large, strategically critical products to drive its growth plans.

Uinsure on a growth plan

Earlier this year, Uinsure announced it had received an investment from Lloyds Development Capital (LDC) to bolster its expansion.

The firm said the new roles and appointments would further support it in building on its insurance technology and distribution to reach new and existing markets.

Martin Schultheiss, group managing director at Uinsure, said: “Our commitment remains to deliver exceptional customer experiences that provide our partners with progressive and relevant insurance solutions. Both Will and Paul are highly experienced in their respective areas and will play a critical role in the next phase of Uinsure’s growth strategy.”

Price added: “This is a hugely exciting time for me to join the business. Uinsure is well-invested, has a clear and executable strategy and a strong position in its chosen markets.

“Collaborating to deepen our existing insurer relationships, as well as building new ones in the non-standard and landlord spaces, will mean we can deliver sound underwriting results and competitive propositions as we expand our distribution reach.”

Kelly said: “The simplicity of our technology has been the driving force behind our success and we want to take this to the next level. Our future developments will be transformational and accelerate the growth of our proposition and the markets that we operate in.”
