Jefferies has extensive experience in the mortgage sector and worked for Personal Touch Financial Services for 11 years, most recently as proposition director, until the firm was acquired by LSL Property Services. 

Under LSL Property Services, Jefferies has been proposition director of Primis for over six years. There, she was responsible for the Primis proposition and relationship management across mortgage, protection and general insurance businesses. 

She has more than 25 years of experience in the sector, having previously worked at Endsleigh Insurance in a number of roles including sales management, business development and product design. 

At Legal and General Retail, Jefferies will report to Ali Crossley, managing director of distribution, and will lead the retail strategy to expand the firm’s presence and influence in the intermediated market. 

She will work closely with Legal and General Retail’s partners, distributors and advisers to deliver solutions across the business. Jefferies will focus on high-value, business protection and core distribution propositions.

Jefferies’ appointment follows the retirement of Jeff Woods, head of intermediary development.
