Santander lowers pricing; TSB adds three-year fixed rates – round-up
Santander is lowering select residential purchase fixed rates in the new business range by between 0.02% and 0.16%.
The changes to residential purchase fixed rates in new business range will come into force from 4 July.
There are no changes to its buy-to-let, large loan and product transfer ranges or residential tracker rates.
The updated rates will be released in a rate bulletin on 4 July.
Santander follows the likes of Natwest and Accord in reducing mortgage rates this week.

TSB introduces three-year fixed rates
TSB has brought out a three-year fixed rates first-time buyer, home mover and remortgage £1,495 fee products.
First-time buyer and home mover rates will begin from 4.57% at 60% loan to value (LTV) and go up to 5.58% at 95% LTV for home mover and 4.44% for a first-time buyer deal at the same LTV tier.
Remortgage deals are priced from 4.62% at 60% LTV and goes up to 5.34% at 85% LTV.
