This will be enabled through the LendingMetrics Auto Decision Platform (ADP), which is a universally integrated software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that manages real-time credit references, anti-money laundering (AML) and affordability calls to data providers.
With this technology, Nottingham Building Society will be able to instantly tell intermediaries about the decision outcomes, giving its underwriters time to focus on areas that require more expertise. The system will also support the development of new propositions and allow the mutual to lend in areas others may not.
Nottingham Building Society will maintain control over credit policy and operational changes through the ADP Editor interface. The decision to transition to the platform was made after some workshops.
David Wylie, commercial director of LendingMetrics, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Nottingham Building Society, which, after undertaking in-depth research into all the available auto-underwriting platforms, decided that ADP offered the optimal solution.
“The society has been a pleasure to work with and we now look forward to helping with plans to further optimise decisioning.”
