Norton Broker Services said the appointment would strengthen its intermediary team, adding that demand was growing across mortgage and bridging enquiries.
Ricks will support brokers across first charge mortgages, along with first and second charge bridging finance.
He will be a direct point of contact for case enquiries, help brokers understand criteria, process applications and secure solutions for complex customers.
Ricks was most recently sales director at Apex International Property Solutions for over a year, and before that, he was the head of sales and marketing at Foot Forward Property Investments for around a year.
Prior to that, he was a senior property consultant for around a decade at Keystone Property Group.

Mel Whiting, head of mortgages and bridging at Norton Broker Services, said: “Vincent brings valuable experience from the investor and development side of the market, which gives him a great understanding of what brokers and their clients need from a lender. We’re really pleased to welcome him to the Norton Broker Services team as we continue building our support proposition to intermediaries across a range of product areas.”
Ricks added: “I’m excited to be joining Norton Broker Services at a time when the team is expanding and there is increased growth in our services and proposition.
“I’ve worked with investors, landlords, and developers for many years, so I understand the importance of clear and timely communication. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and helping more brokers get deals across the line.”
